“Double-suited aces with pocket threes — the threes are the weakest possible paired sidecard, but the double suitedness more than compensates. You get two nut flush draws and occasionally a sneaky bottom set that nobody puts you on. The A-3 combo also gives you some wheel straight potential with a 2-4-5 board. Don't get attached to a set of threes on wet boards; your flush draws are where the real money is.”
